    Avaliação dos efeitos da ILIB modificada transdérmica na reabilitação cardiopulmonar na síndrome Pós-COVID-19

    Post-COVID syndrome are persistent symptoms such as shortness of breath, fatigue, memory loss, fatigue, muscle weakness, hair loss, and other symptoms. Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation should be started early for these patients. Modified transdermal ILIBm (Intravascular Laser Irradiation of Blood) is a blood and systemic photobiomodulation therapy that may contribute to improvement in general conditions and rehabilitation after infection. The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacyof the use of transdermal ILIBm in the radial artery associated with cardiopulmonar rehabilitation in post-COVID-19 patients. This is a randomized controlled clinical trialwith 12 volunteers of both sexes. We divided into 2 randomized groups, ILIBm groupwith 30 minutes irradiation and the cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and compared withthe control group ILIBm off and the cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, evaluated beforeand after the program. The interventions were performed 2x per week for 4 weeks. Peak expiratory flow, Walk Test (6 min), Dynamometry, Muscle Strength (MRC), Quality of life (SARC-VIDA software, which is based on the SF-36 questionnaire), andbiochemical and hematological tests were evaluated. The rehabilitation program consisted of aerobic exercises, resistance training, and respiratory training. The resultsobtained in the intergroup analysis showed non-significant statistics, in the intragroupanalysis significant positive results in the ILIBm group, with improvement in musclestrength by dynamometry, in peak expiratory flow, in the BORG scale during the 6-minute walk test and in quality of life in the vitality and functional capacity parameters.Even with some statistically insignificant results, 100% of the participants reported atthe end improvement of symptoms or even disappearance in both groups. Weconclude that cardiopulmonary rehabilitation is necessary in patients convalescingfrom post-covid-19 syndrome and when associated with ILIBm showed greater resultsin the parameters of muscle strength, peak expiratory flow, 6-minute walk test andquality of life.

    Efeito da fotobiomodulação e da cinesioterapia na expressão de índices hematológicos em pacientes com osteoartrose de joelho

    Photobiomodulation (PBM: English-photobiomodulation) is a treatment that involves the use of a monochromatic light source, non-thermal effect, which has been proposed in the treatment of patients with knee osteoarthrosis (OAJ), due to these analog, action effects anti-inflammatory and regenerative. However, the systemic effects of PBM, especially those referring to monomorphonuclear blood cells, are still unclear. The aim of this study was to evaluate the number of white series cells and the number of patients diagnosed with OAJ published through PBM and kinesiotherapy, associated or not. The number of cells in the white and platelet series of 28 patients, between 45 and 80 years old, were randomly divided into 4 groups: Kinesiotherapy Group (CG); PBM Group (GL); Cinesioterapia + PBM Group (GCL); and PBM + Cinesioterapia Group (GLC). All groups receive treatment 3 times a week on alternate days for 4 weeks. Groups using treatment with physical activity (CG, GLC and GCL) perform supervised exercises and groups using treatment with PBM (GL, GCL and GLC) receive 9 irradiation points (Therapy XT-DMC, São Carlos, Brazil - 808nm P = 100mW - 3J / point). The evaluations were performed before the start of treatment (AV0) and 48 h after the end of the 10th session (AV1). Our results show that the initial and final count is not the number of neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes and platelets, the GC, GCL and GLC do not significantly alter cell counts (p0.05). The GL showed a significant increase only in the monocyte count (p0.05) after 4 weeks of treatment. The comparison between cell relationships between lymphocytic neoplasms (RNL), monocyte lymphocytes (RML) and coated lymphocytes (RPL), did not significantly affect the use of any method used. However, an RML in the intergroup evaluation showed an increasing trend only in the group treated with PBM. Therefore, we can conclude that PBM alone, without OAJ treatment, was the only treatment capable of promoting white cell and platelet count, mainly in monocytes. And an RML relationship was also a single cellular relationship capable of differentiating the proposed procedures, suggesting that PBM alone can increase the inflammatory response, in the tests tested.

    Avaliação do conhecimento sobre fotobiomodulação dos fisioterapeutas no Brasil

    Physiotherapy is the profession that assesses, rehabilitates, prevents, recovers, as well as restores, develops, and conserves the individual's capacity through physical resources such as ultrasound, heat and light. Electrophysical resources are described and recommended in undergraduate courses and among these we find the use of low power lasers. Brazil is one of the countries with the most publications in the world in the area known as Photobiomodulation (PBM), however, it is not clear the access that physiotherapy clinicians have to the advances obtained in scientific research. The purpose of this study is to verify, through an electronic form, the knowledge of physical therapists enrolled in class councils about PBM in daily practice. An electronic questionnaire Google Form was developed, and it was sent by email, WhatsApp social networks, SMS, and printed forms were also distributed. The distribution started in the region of Goiás and the Federal District with the support of CREFITO 11 and then expanded to other regions. In total 106 physiotherapists answered the questionnaire. Of these 50% used lasers in the clinic, while 10.4% had never used lasers. After obtaining the data and according to the responses obtained, we observed 50% that physiotherapy professionals. 81.4% said they did not use it because they did not have the equipment and 10.2% indicated the cost as a reason for not using it. Among the participants, 62.3% said they had not made any updates in the area in the last 3 years and of those who said they had updated the courses up to 1 hour in duration were the majority. 76.5% also never calibrated their equipment and 45.7% said they used the protocols they learned at graduation. Based on the results, we conclude that there is a need for greater dissemination of the scientific knowledge obtained in the field of PBM in physical therapy so that the advances are effectively passed on to professionals who work clinically in the area.
