Advanced age makes them more exposed to carcinogens, which significantly increases the number of patients with oncological diseases and, therefore, the search for treatments that promote cure, survival and quality for them. This study aimed to review the main cancer treatment options in dogs. The data obtained were collected from searches of publications of relevance to science, through the database of Academic Google, Pubmed, Scielo and specialized books on the subject. The results obtained point to new perspectives that can be concomitantly administered to traditional means already used, in order to bring quality of life and better responses to cancer treatment in dogs. The research seeks to answer the central question: "How has 3D technology contributed to veterinary medicine?". Veterinary medicine, like other health-related fields, experiences notable advancements with the incorporation of technology into its daily practice. In this context, three-dimensional models (3D) stand out, transforming clinical and surgical approaches in animals. This study proposes a comprehensive literature review on the advances and applications of 3D models in veterinary medicine, emphasizing the benefits of this innovation for diagnoses, surgical planning, and academic education. Additionally, successful cases where this technology has been applied in veterinary practice will be highlighted. The goal is for this work to contribute to a deeper understanding of the benefits of using this innovative technology in veterinary medicine. It also aims to encourage the adoption of these tools by industry professionals, presenting their multiple possibilities and enhancing improvements in animal care. Through this research, we seek to demonstrate that the use of 3D technology has a significant impact on advancing veterinary techniques. By the end of this study, we expect to confirm that, in addition to enhancing existing practices, 3D technology opens up a vast array of possibilities for new solutions in veterinary medicine.
