The research identified impacts such as pollution of rivers, seas and oceans, causing the death of marine species, pollution of soils, decreasing the useful life of landfills and air pollution, when plastic waste is incinerated in places that are not regulated. With the growth of the markets, accompanied by competitiveness and new technologies, the process of industrialization and consumption of plastic also increased and consequently the generation of waste. This evolution has a direct impact on the degradation of the environment, causing innumerable harm, especially given the inappropriate disposal of this waste. Disposing plastic waste in the right place is a challenge for industries. The research started from the following question: How to mitigate the environmental impacts of the inappropriate disposal of post-consumer plastic through reverse logistics? The importance of implementing reverse logistics as a strategic tool in companies is verified, enabling the economy through improvements in their organizational processes for planning and controlling items after consumption, with the objective of mitigating the environmental impacts caused by the incorrect disposal of waste and reuse these discarded materials, avoiding irregular deposits.Item Arte e educação em prol do meio ambiente: uma estratégia pedagógica(Universidade Brasil, 2020) Angelis, Joslaine Aparecida Regióli de; Belo, Marco Antônio de AndradeMarked by the significant growth of solid waste discarded in the environment and the need to create a collective awareness of environmental protection, the present work aimed to demonstrate the importance of art in the education and training of the new generation, giving a new meaning to solid waste in the countryside, from the municipality of Auriflama, São Paulo, promoting a strategy to reconcile art activities in youth education with the awareness of preserving the environment. Classes start next to solid waste collection buckets in rural neighborhoods, where students are exposed to the reality of disposal, often incorrectly, becoming a moment of awareness and reflection on new social dynamics and their deleterious effects, as well as creating a fertile field for discussing possible strategies to minimize impacts negative effects of these residues. In this context, students are encouraged to seek solid objects for the development of art classes, which must undergo an artistic transformation, gaining new meanings, to return with another use, in the form of art and protection of the environment. The residues collected during classes are cleaned and modified, abandoning their original meaning, and reproduced in new pieces, as art. A reinterpretation became possible, through the new. However, the results of this study demonstrated the effectiveness of this new pedagogical dynamic in the training of young people, promoting environmental education through transformative art, constituting a promising didactic strategy to sow the need for preserving the environment in future generations.
