Item Análise do crescimento e desenvolvimento de probióticos no leite(Universidade Brasil, 2021) Saggiorato, Vitor Franzin; Soares, Vando EdésioProbiotics are live microorganisms that provide health benefits to the host, promoting the balance of the intestinal microbiota. When administered in smaller amounts, it reduces the effects of lactose intolerance, immunomodulation, protects against pathogenic microorganisms, has anticarcinogenic activity and liver regeneration. Its use in animal nutrition has been researched and increasingly accepted, especially after restrictions on the use of antimicrobials. Development parameters for the symbiotic association of bacteria and yeasts, ASBL (kefir), were elaborated to optimize their production. Type A whole milk and powdered milk with 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5% ASBL were used as substrate, with four replications in a germination chamber type BOD at a temperature of 30ºC for 24 hours. The pH and weight gain of ASBL, yeast dough yield (kefiran) and whey (kefiraride) were evaluated. In conclusion, for an industrial scale production, the most suitable is to use powdered milk in a concentration of 4% of ASBL, since the company in question (research funder) presents a difficulty in the transport and storage processes of the type A milk, which would need refrigeration.Item Aspectos físico-químicos e microbiológicos do processo fermentativo da Kombucha(Universidade Brasil, 2022) Magno, Mara Paula; Soares, Vando EdésioKombucha is a fermented beverege, prepared from the fermantation of green tea and or sweetened black tea (Camellia Sinensis), and in a symbiotic culture process called Simbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast (SCOBY), at room or controlled temperatura. It is considered a probiotic drink that balances the intestinal flora and strengthens the imune system. Changes in physical and chemical parameters must be observed during fermentation in order to have a better concentration and production. Aiming to explore other areas of consumption, as well as the animal área, this research aims to find the best range of production of this SCOBY evaluating the dynamics and growth of SCOBY symbiosis in kombucha with diferent concentrations of tea and sugar. The growth in animal nutrition has led to the emergence of a new generation of products to help balance the microbiota of animals. Green tea leaves at concentration of 0,6%, 0,8% and 1,2% and crystal sugar at concentration of 6% and 8% were used as substrate resultingin six treatments with four replications of 200 ml each. In a BOD type germination chamber, it was incubated at a temperature of 27°C over a total period of 14 days, starting from day 0 of fermentation. The parameters of pH, brix, SCOBY weight and colony forming unit (UFC) were evaluated. Thus, it can be concluded that for the SCOBY weight parameters and UFC for the concentration a of 1,2% of green tea and 8,0% of sucrose is the most indicated, there was interaction providing SCOBY weight again. For the pH parameter, related to green tea the best concentration was 0,6% and 0,8% and with sugar substrate the best concentration was 8,0%. For the Brix parameter, with analog measurement, the values were very homogeneous, showing no variability between the readings taken in the different concentrations of green tea and sucrose.Item Avaliação da qualidade do leite UHT, quanto aos parâmetros: alizarol, acidez dornic, densidade e presença de formaldeído de nove marcas comercializadas no município de Ji-Paraná-RO(Universidade Brasil, 2018) Gasparotto, Paulo Henrique Gilio; Soares, Vando EdésioItem Avaliação da técnica de controle físico da população de carrapato Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus, no município de Cacoal - RO(Universidade Brasil, 2016) Araújo, Kleberson Conrado; Soares, Vando EdésioItem Avaliação dos níveis de cálcio e fósforo presentes em dietas BARF e Prey model para cães adultos e em crescimento(Universidade Brasil, 2023) Moura, Angélica Kischener de; Zeferino, Cynthia Pieri; Soares, Vando EdésioThe change in the consumer profile of pet owners and the increased concern with the ingredients present in the commercial complete diets has led to more owners opting to offer homemade diets, based on diet recommendations found on websites. Among the homemade diets’ varieties, raw diets are gaining more supporters in Brazil, with emphasis on BARF (biologically aproppriate raw food), which consists of raw meats with or without bones, offal and a small percentage of vegetables, fruits, and seeds, and also prey model, which does not include any vegetables, only meats with or without bones and offal. .The objective of this study was to evaluate the composition of calcium and phosphorus in homemade raw diets in the BARF and prey model modalities and compare them with the recommendations of the European Pet Food Industry Federation (FEDIAF, 2021), in addition to evaluating the relationships between these two nutrients. Thirty homemade raw diets were evaluated, 20 in the BARF category (10 for adult and 10 for growing dogs) and 10 in the prey model category (all for both adults and growth). To compose the diets, the instructions described on websites in English were followed to determine the percentage of ingredients for each physiological phase. Bromatological analyzes were carried out on the nine ingredients of animal origin that contained bones (whole quail, whole rabbit, chicken foot, chicken head, chicken neck, chicken thigh, chicken drumstick, chicken back and chicken wing) to obtain calcium and phosphorus levels. The nutritional composition of foods was estimated using software. Of the 30 formulations evaluated, none reached the minimum values for calcium, phosphorus and Ca/P ratio recommended by FEDIAF, (2021), with calcium being the nutrient with the highest incidence of values below the recommendation. The results highlight the presence of nutritional inconsistencies in the recommendations for raw diets with bones in the BARF and prey model modalities on the websites and reinforce the need for care when formulating a homemade raw food for dogs in different physiological phases.Item Boletim Técnico da Produção Animal, 2 / Universidade Camilo Castelo Branco : boas práticas de ensilagem(Universidade Camilo Castelo Branco, 2012) Brennecke, Käthery; Dian, Paulo Henrique Moura; Bertipaglia, Liandra Maria Abaker; Soares, Vando Edésio; Simões, Thiago Rossi; Lima, Valdique Gilberto deItem Boletim Técnico da Produção Animal, 5 / Universidade Camilo Castelo Branco : nutrição de bezerros de corte – CREEP FEEDING(Universidade Camilo Castelo Branco, 2013) Dian, Paulo Henrique Moura; Casale, Daniele Sleutjes; Brennecke, Käthery; Soares, Vando EdésioItem Construção de rodovia em Caraguatatuba – SP e suas alterações socioambientais na percepção dos moradores = road construction in Caraguatatuba – SP and environmental changes in perception of residents(Universidade Brasil, 2016) Franco, Daniel de Godoi; Soares, Vando EdésioItem Desenvolvimento de aplicativo informatizado para gerenciamento da pecuária de corte(Universidade Brasil, 2018) Alexandre, Jéssica Weschenfelder; Pereira, Luiz Arthur Malta; Soares, Vando EdésioItem Desenvolvimento de sistema de identificação individual e rastreabilidade de bovinos de corte por RFID(Universidade Brasil, 2024) Peres, Júlio Cesar Rocha; Soares, Vando Edésio; Pereira, Luiz Arthur MaltaThe objective of this research was to develop an individual identification and traceability system for beef cattle using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). The research was conducted with a view to creating a user-friendly module, aiming at self service, in order to allow producers, regardless of their level of knowledge of technologies, to feel capable of entering the necessary information to ensure the traceability of the animals. An easy-to-use system was designed for users with different levels of familiarity with computers, using the PHP language, designed for web development and executed on the server. In addition to PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the Bootstrap framework were used, which facilitate the creation of responsive websites. The database structure was designed and created in MySQL, a relational database management system that allows the storage of various types of data. The results of the bibliographic review indicated that Brazil has reached a high level with the results of Brazilian livestock farming, with large investments that provide food safety and quality of meat for the Brazilian market. Likewise, the State of Rondônia has international health recognition status, as it has rigorously met the requirements and requirements of the foreign market, one of which is animal traceability, allowing for the identification of animals with greater security. During the development of the system, its efficiency was verified in all testing phases and its operation, with the platform's functionalities being validated using program-based testing, known as functional testing or black box testing. The system created was made available free of charge at the electronic address www.pmppa.com.br/rastreabilidade. Thus, it was concluded that the use of this system is relevant, as it aims to individually identify each animal belonging to the producers' herd and its entire history, with the primary focus being to ensure compliance with the required standards and health control.Item Efeito do uso de cultura simbiótica no sucedâneo do leite sobre parâmetros hematológicos, bioquímicos, fecais e corporais de bezerros leiteiros(Universidade Brasil, 2021) Mancilha, Sheila Viviane de Souza; Soares, Vando EdésioAlthough dairy farming has developed a lot in recent years, the control of diarrhea in Holstein calves is still very difficult, since there is still a need for economic detachment for such control. The use of symbiotics has been widely studied and is a promising alternative in combination with antibiotics or alone. Re-establishing the gastrointestinal microenvironment improves absorption and increases the animals' immunity. This work was developed to evaluate the hematological, biochemical, fecal and body parameters of dairy calves that received a milk replacer containing a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (CSBL) for a period of 30 days. The experiment was approved by CEUA under protocol 2000090. Twenty-four male Holstein calves were used, which, when properly colostrated on the day of birth, were taken to the experiment site. The calves were randomly divided into four distinct groups: a control group, a 0.5 g CSBL group, a 1.0 g CSBL group and another 2.0 g CSBL group. Every 15 days, blood samples were taken to assess hematological and biochemical parameters. The calves were weighed weekly and their body measurements were also measured (withers, rump and thorax). The group treated with 0.5 g and 1.0 g CSBL, showed greater weight gain and body performance, as well as better control of the consistency of their stools, which remained within normal and soft parameters, without diarrhea. The hematological and biochemical parameters showed mostly positive action to the use of CSBL. It is noteworthy that the concentration of CSBL 2.0 g had no or negative effect on the parameters observed in treated calves. The concentration of CSBL 0.5 g, in addition to providing a better yield, easy handling, results in an excellent cost-benefit ratio for the producer, acting positively in one of the diseases that most damage the dairy activity, diarrhea.Item Estudo mercadológico do mel em Porto Velho-RO(Universidade Brasil, 2024) Rubin, Gabriel André; Soares, Vando Edésio; Silva, André de AlmeidaThe research was carried out in the municipality of Porto Velho-RO, covering the urban perimeter. Data was collected from local supermarkets in 33 of the 77 neighborhoods. The study focused on the sale of Apis meliffera honey, collecting information on the percentage of supermarkets selling honey, have health inspection, organic certification and the origin of brands, differentiating between regional products and those from other states. The main objective was to demonstrate the importance of the honey market in Porto Velho and to show local beekeepers the importance of qualifying their products through health inspection and organic certification, so that they can better take advantage of market opportunities and occupy the commercial space currently dominated by beekeepers from other regions. The results showed that 78% of the supermarkets in Porto Velho sell honey, 56% of the available honey has no health inspection, 44% comes from other states and only 22% is produced in Rondônia. The current scenario suggests the need for policies that promote safer and more regulated honey production and marketing, emphasizing the importance of initiatives to improve sanitary and organic certification practices, strengthen the local economy, benefit public health and environmental conservation, and positioning Porto Velho as a leader in sustanaible honey production.Item Identificação de resíduos sólidos do setor moveleiro de Votuporanga-SP = identification of solid waste of furniture industry Votuporanga-SP(Universidade Brasil, 2016) Ortin, Sileno Marcos Araujo; Soares, Vando EdésioItem Impactos socioeconômicos causados devido à paralisação da mitilicultura no município de Caraguatatuba-SP = socioeconomical impacts caused by the paralyzation of mussel breeding in the city of Caraguatatuba-SP(Universidade Camilo Castelo Branco, 2015) Pedrozo, Élton Carlos Eller; Brennecke, Käthery; Soares, Vando EdésioItem Legislação vigente para a produção artesanal de leite de cabra e derivados no Estado de São Paulo(Universidade Camilo Castelo Branco, 2016) Basílio, Elisângela Cristina Barros; Soares, Vando EdésioItem Parâmetros hematológicos e bioquímicos de coelhos suplementados com probióticos na dieta(Universidade Brasil) Zeferino, Cynthia Pieri; Lima, Natália Karollaine de; Artoni, Ana Júlia; Rodrigues, Paula Gomes; Brennecke, Käthery; Ferraz, Luriany Pompeo; Magno, Mara Paula; Soares, Vando EdésioItem Prevalência de Cisticercose em carcaças de bovinos abatidos em matadouros – frigoríficos do Estado de Rondônia(Universidade Brasil, 2016) Alves, Wellington Carreta; Soares, Vando EdésioItem A produção e o valor sócio econômico do pescado na região de Curuá – PA(Universidade Brasil, 2019) Sarrazin, Alberico Luiz Aguiar; Soares, Vando EdésioItem Rinotraqueíte infecciosa, mamilite e diarreia viral bovina em rebanhos de Humaitá/AM(Universidade Brasil, 2018) Laner, Diego; Soares, Vando Edésio; Orlandi , Cássia Maria BarrosoItem Teste de sensibilidade ao Amitraz e Deltametrina em Rhipicephalus sanguineus Sensu Latona região metropolitana de Manaus(Universidade Brasil, 2021) Oliveira, Rafael Justa de; Soares, Vando EdésioThe tick Rhipcephalus sanguineus is an acari that has great impact on veterinary medicine, because it acts as a vector of many diseases in animals and even in humans, in which case it has been parasitized by this acari. Some active principle has been used in an effort of control this parasite, however its continuous use can end up causing resistence in this acari, resuting in hard control. Some authors already reported resistance of this and others ticks in some places in Brazil. Although, little it is known about the resistance of R. sanguineus to the active principle commonly used. The objective of this research was to test the resistance of R. sanguineus to two active principles most used as tick control: Amitraz and Deltamethrin. Thus, a population of 90 females parthenogynous was used after being taken from 46 parasitized dogs collected from donor collections from all areas of Manaus -AM. The parthenogynous where than divided in 3 groups. Group 1 was exposed to amitraz, group 2 was exposed to Deltamethrin and group 3 was exposed to distilled water. By the end of 15 days of experiment twenty-five individuals of group 1 died (83,3%) and five survived (16,7%), although they didn’t lay eggs; 100% of the individuals of group 2 died; all individuals of group 3 survived and they laid eggs. This experiment showed that the active principles tested were effective in the control of this parasite, since even in group, individuals who have survived the test failed to lay eggs, making it impossible to finish the biological cycle.
