Item Aderência às legislações vigentes por parte das empresas de alimentação natural para cães e gatos(Universidade Brasil, 2021) Frias, Juliana Lopes; Putarov, Thaila Cristina; Pereira, Luiz Arthur MaltaThe humanization of pets has intensified in recent years, this phenomenon has generated an increase in demand for natural foods by dog and cat owners and heated up the pet food market. As a result, there are numerous natural food manufacturers that need information to produce safe foods that meet the requirements of animals. The objective of this dissertation was to collect data and develop technical, simple and objective technical products on regulations, legislation and Good Manufacturing and Food Handling Practices. The study was divided into three stages: (i) development of a virtual questionnaire aimed at natural food manufacturing establishments (homemade); (ii) application of the questionnaire for data collection; (iv) development of technological orienting technical products. The virtual questionnaire was sent to 21 establishments. Ten responses were obtained from the questionnaire, with 90% of establishments selling natural food cooked and frozen. Only 30% of establishments have a technical manager (RT) or advisor for food production. Opportunities for action in this sector can be seen, which is lacking in professionals and adequate technical information. Technological orienting technical products were developed, being: (a) two e-books addressing the following topics: (1) “Why invest in natural food for dogs and cats?”, and (2) “Importance of Good Handling Practices Food in the diet of dogs and cats”; (b) digital platform where content interactivity with the insertion of videos was sought; and (c) profile on social media (Instagram) for dissemination of content and dissemination of consultancy and/or advisory services.Item Aplicativo da legislação para exportação de proteína animal(Universidade Brasil, 2022) Fiumaro, José Eduardo Covas; Brennecke, Käthery; Pereira, Luiz Arthur MaltaThe present work aimed to highlight the need, convenience and application of Information Systems, as well as their technologies, as a way of integrating, facilitating, managing and promoting interfaces of normative, legal and administrative operations of Foreign Trade, with emphasis in the export of animal protein, of Brazilian origin, involving the entire logistics and production chain. The biggest stressor in dairy cattle farming is the climate, more specifically the heat, which affects considerably the welfare of the animals. In this context, the environment influences the living conditions of an organism, and the climate and the ability to adapt are responsible for influencing the behavior of the animals. In order to determine the effects of heat stress on animals, indices of thermal comfort have been developed taking into account climatic and/or physiological variables, helping producers and researchers to find the best means to reduce the stress caused by heat and determine the best time for measures to be implemented in order to provide thermal comfort to animals. Among the indices proposed in the literature, the temperature-humidity index (THI) and the black globe temperature and humidity index (BGTHI) stand out. Regarding rural workers, among the several existing thermal comfort indexes, we can highlight the thermal discomfort index (TDI). In order to obtain an ideal thermal environment for cattle in warm climatic regions, it is necessary to adequately monitor the environment to provide welfare to production animals and to achieve satisfactory zootechnical performance. In this sense, precision dairy farming, a management system based on information technology, enables greater control of animal and environmental variables, improving the performance of the dairy farm. To obtain values of climatic variables, there are devices known as dataloggers, which are nothing more than electronic devices that record data collected over a period of time, through sensors on its platform and that allow the calculation of thermal comfort indexes. In this work the objective was to improve a datalogger sensor capable of collecting biometeorological data from a dairy farm and transform them into ambience indices, providing the thermal classification of the environment to the producer. For this, a microcontrolled Arduino platform was used, with temperature and relative humidity sensors attached to it. The prototype read the climatic variables providing the values of air temperature, relative humidity, black globe temperature, dew point temperature, THI, BGTHI, TDI and thermal classification of the environment in favorable (comfort), alert (cold and heat) and danger (intense cold, intense heat and unbearable heat), thus responding to the producer's demand and consequently assisting in decision making regarding the appropriate management for the animal and rural worker welfare. Within the National Program for the Control and Eradication of Brucellosis and Tuberculosis (PNCEBT), the vaccination of female cattle and buffaloes between three and eight months of age is one of the items necessary for its control and eradication. Given the difficulties faced by some producers in establishing the correct vaccination period for animals, this work aims to automate birth control, registration of date of coverage, types of medicines and vaccines used, control of weight gain, in addition to the implementation of other information of the ideal period for vaccination, through the creation of an easy-to-use application to be used by rural producers, who will have control of this data, based on the information entered by the user, assisting in the health management of the herd. The application was developed in the languages HTML, PHP, Java Script, CSS and MySQL database and can be accessed via the link: www.pmppa.com.br/vacinas. It has a computer program registration certificate, issued by the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), registered under number BR512023001618-7, with title: VacB19-Vaccination Control System. The development of the application (software) works on several platforms, being easily accessed by cell phone or computer, to assist in the control of brucellosis vaccination, as well as in the integrated health management of the property.Item Desenvolvimento de dispositivo móvel para mensurar variáveis biometeorológicos na criação de aves de produção(Universidade Brasil, 2022) Bortoletto Neto, Osvaldo; Sgavioli, Sarah; Pereira, Luiz Arthur MaltaIn poultry production systems, the environment in which the birds are raised plays a fundamental role in productivity, so it is necessary that the biometerorological variables of the facilities are controlled so that the birds can express behavioral and physiological responses appropriate to their development. Therefore, it is extremely important for poultry research to have a device capable of measuring biometerorological variables in poultry facilities, such as broilers, commercial layers and breeders. Thus, the present work aimed to develop and validate a mobile device capable of measuring dry bulb temperature (TA), relative humidity (RH), wind speed (VV), black globe temperature and dew point temperature (Tpo). The base of the device was developed in a 3D printer, where the ArduinoMega 2560 microcontroller, the display, an SD Card to record the programming information and the RTC (Real Time Clock - digital clock) were placed, in addition to the sensors to measure the bioclimatic variables. The results obtained indicate that the system worked correctly and allows the measurement and storage of the proposed biometerorological variables through sensors and the equation programmed into the device for dew point temperature. The validation with the use of commercial equipment showed that the device has accuracy in the measurements performed and demonstrated that it can be used as a tool for producers to verify the environmental conditions of the facilities.Item Desenvolvimento de plataforma colaborativa on-line com função bilíngue (inglês vs. português) de terminologias técnicas na área de produção animal(Universidade Brasil, 2018) Ferrari, Maria Helena; Pereira, Luiz Arthur Malta; Zeferino, Cynthia PieriItem Desenvolvimento de plataforma colaborativa para fomento da agricultura familiar(Universidade Brasil, 2023) Lindner, Andréia Luciane; Pereira, Luiz Arthur MaltaIn Brazil, there is a lack of technical assistance, especially for small rural properties. The 2017 Census revealed that only 20.7% of the establishments in Brazil received some kind of technical guidance, and this percentage was even lower, 18.7%, among family farmers. Surveys conducted in 2020 by Embrapa and INPE revealed that 84% of Brazilian farmers already use digital technology as a tool to improve agricultural production. In this context, with the aim of minimizing the lack of information, this work proposes the construction of a platform that enables rural producers to access simplified and practical technical content on livestock. The platform will provide information on the three main infectious diseases controlled by the state, facilitate the notification of suspected cases to the Official Veterinary Service of the State of Rondônia, assist in the recognition of toxic plants of interest in livestock, provide technical manuals on cattle management and allow the sharing of information on professionals who can provide specialized technical services to producers. All the programming developed was stored on a third-party web server and can be accessed through the electronic address , through desktops, notebooks, tablets or smartphones that have internet access. Item Desenvolvimento de plataforma tecnológica de apoio à gestão da pecuária, direcionada à bovinocultura(Universidade Brasil, 2022) Silva Filho, Emílio Afonso da; Zeferino, Cynthia Pieri; Pereira, Luiz Arthur MaltaLivestock stands out as one of the main economic activities in Brazil, especially in the North region, which has a significant part of the production of animal protein. However, in many of these areas, due to the lack of research, or even the geographical difficulty of access by the professional, the profile of these properties is not known. Tracing the profile, mainly of those located in regions of difficult access, is fundamental for the optimization, in order to guarantee satisfactory production levels in livestock. This work proposes the development of a technological platform that provides, in a free, fast, easy and practical way, the exchange of information between rural producers and agribusiness professionals for the collection and management of data from the production system. The research consisted of four phases. Phase I corresponded to the survey, via internet, of the technological tools (software and applications) aimed at managing livestock production. Phase II was carried out through the search, grouping and organization of the information necessary for the development of the platform based on the forms and spreadsheets available. Phase III corresponded to the choice of programming language. All the developed programming was stored on an outsourced web server (http://www.pmppa.com.br/apoio/) and can be accessed by computer and cell phone. Phase IV consisted of including questions to feed the platform and carrying out the validation test by the company “AMAZONVET AGRONEGÓCIOS. The product has a computer program registration certificate by the INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property, BR 512020002806-3). The platform is divided into four profiles: home, login, answering survey and administrator. The "Technological Platform for Supporting Livestock Management" guarantees the professional support for the diagnosis, planning and monitoring of technical management in agricultural and livestock management, in addition to administrative and financial management on the property and with the producer, in order to, in this way, to enable increases in production and productivity, in order to guarantee greater economic-financial income for rural properties.Item Desenvolvimento de protótipo eletrônico para manejo de cortina, ventilador e nebulizador em instalações para suínos(Universidade Brasil, 2024) Faria, Ricardo de Souza; Zeferino, Cynthia Pieri; Pereira, Luiz Arthur MaltaThe climate has a significant impact on swine production, being a decisive factor in achieving productivity and, consequently, the success of the activity. Environmental factors must be monitored to maintain favorable conditions; thus, it is necessary to develop accessible technologies to measure the microclimate of swine farms. The study aimed to develop a low-cost electronic prototype to assist in maintaining thermal comfort in small and medium-sized swine facilities. The prototype was developed using the Arduino Mega platform and combines the measurement of environmental variables (air temperature, relative humidity and black globe temperature) to calculate the dew point and ambience indices (Temperature and Humidity Index; THI and Black globe-humidity index; BGHI). The equipment classifies thermal stress and, through programming, indicates the decisions to be made regarding the activation of curtains, fans and nebulizers. The total cost to manufacture a sample was US$ 97.80 (in US dollars). The laboratory tests were conducted under three different conditions and their results confirmed the functionality, thus validating the prototype. In the indoor environment, in the shade, the stress was moderate and the management measures proposed by the prototype were the complete opening of the curtains, with fans on. In the outdoor environment, in the sun, the stress was severe and the measures proposed were the complete opening of the curtains, with fans and nebulizers on. In the outdoor environment at night, there was no heat stress, therefore, no type of management was proposed. In conclusion, the developed and validated prototype is configured as an efficient and low-cost technological tool to assist in maintaining thermal comfort in swine facilities, both for subsistence and on a commercial scale for small and medium-sized producers.Item Desenvolvimento de sensor eletrônico de detecção de estro e frequência de monta em bovinos.(Universidade Brasil, 2020) Oliveira, Raphael Augusto de Lucena; Orlandi, Cássia Maria Barroso; Pereira, Luiz Arthur MaltaItem Desenvolvimento de sistema de identificação individual e rastreabilidade de bovinos de corte por RFID(Universidade Brasil, 2024) Peres, Júlio Cesar Rocha; Soares, Vando Edésio; Pereira, Luiz Arthur MaltaThe objective of this research was to develop an individual identification and traceability system for beef cattle using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). The research was conducted with a view to creating a user-friendly module, aiming at self service, in order to allow producers, regardless of their level of knowledge of technologies, to feel capable of entering the necessary information to ensure the traceability of the animals. An easy-to-use system was designed for users with different levels of familiarity with computers, using the PHP language, designed for web development and executed on the server. In addition to PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the Bootstrap framework were used, which facilitate the creation of responsive websites. The database structure was designed and created in MySQL, a relational database management system that allows the storage of various types of data. The results of the bibliographic review indicated that Brazil has reached a high level with the results of Brazilian livestock farming, with large investments that provide food safety and quality of meat for the Brazilian market. Likewise, the State of Rondônia has international health recognition status, as it has rigorously met the requirements and requirements of the foreign market, one of which is animal traceability, allowing for the identification of animals with greater security. During the development of the system, its efficiency was verified in all testing phases and its operation, with the platform's functionalities being validated using program-based testing, known as functional testing or black box testing. The system created was made available free of charge at the electronic address www.pmppa.com.br/rastreabilidade. Thus, it was concluded that the use of this system is relevant, as it aims to individually identify each animal belonging to the producers' herd and its entire history, with the primary focus being to ensure compliance with the required standards and health control.Item Desenvolvimento de sistema de monitoramento animal para o “zoológico do centro de instrução de guerra na selva” do Exército Brasileiro (Sismozex)(Universidade Brasil, 2023) Moreira, Roseneide de Oliveira; Bertipaglia, Liandra Maria Abaker; Pereira, Luiz Arthur MaltaThe activities of the veterinarians and biologists at the zoo are varied, and one of them is documentation, which is currently done manually and filed in specific archives alongside the zoo's general documents. The software represents a tool designed to enhance the efficiency, agility, and productivity of the veterinarians who will now digitally manage the medical records of the animals at the "Zoo of the Jungle Warfare Instruction Center" (ZOOCIGS).
