The changes related to health environments have been the subject of many studies, because of the severity and negative impact that can compromise the recovery of the patient and the well-being of people in local and even the visitors of hospitalized people. This work aimed to evaluate the presence of microorganisms in bioaerosols in a medium-sized hospital in the northwest region of São Paulo, in two restricted locations: intensive care unit (ICU) and Central for Material and Sterilization (CMS). Air samples were collected at three strategic points, once a month, for six consecutive months comprising two different times: from 7 am to 7 pm and from 7 pm to 7 am of the following day. For fungal collection, the spontaneous sedimentation method was used, by Petri dishes placed in predetermined locations. The plates were closed, stored in an appropriate place and transported to the microbiology laboratory of Faculdade Brasil, in the city of Fernandópolis, where they were analyzed. For the identification of fungi, macro and microscopic morphological characteristics were used, as well as conventional biochemical methods. The colony-forming units were identified and accounted for, being analyzed statistically, through analysis of variance (ANOVA) and cluster analysis by hierarchical method. The following genera and species of fungi were found: Aspergillus fumigatus, Aspergillus niger, Candida albicans, Cladosporium spp, Curvularia spp, Fusarium spp, Penicillium spp, Rhizopus spp and Mucor spp. It was found that the daytime operation period is more prone to infections, since most of the colony-forming units developed between the hours of 7 am to 7 pm, which coincides with a greater presence of people in the place. The ICU was the place with the highest presence of microorganisms,
