In the quest for beauty and aesthetics, skin care is very important, as it is the largest organ in the body. In recent years, aesthetics has developed new methods, which combine manual techniques, cosmetology and technology in the search for the"perfect body". Among the changes considered unsightly, cellulite, also known as Fibroedema Geloid or Gynoid Lipodystrophy, is the one that most bothers women. In addition to histological alterations, the EGF also presents multifactorial dysfunctions, with the presence of vascular, inflammatory, hormonal and structural alterations. In this study, we associated photobiomodulation therapy using LEDs with gentle vacum therapy, which increases local skin circulation and has been used as cupping therapy for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine. For this, 25 women between 18 and 50 years old, with EGF grades I to IV and phototypes between I and V, were recruited. The evaluation was performed by Infrared Thermography and ultrasound imaging before the start of treatments and again at the end of 4 weeks. Patients received random bilateral treatment in the region of the thigh flanks, using Vacuum + ActiveLED on one side and Vacuum + Placebo LED on the contralateral side. Twelve treatment sessions were applied 3x a week over a period of 4 weeks. The treatments, active or placebo, were applied by a third professional with specialization inaesthetics. Both sides were treated with vacuum therapy. Vacuum Therapy Associated with Photobiomodulation was able to promote a slight increase in regional temperature in the flanks, indicating an increase in regional blood flow. However, it was not able to promote the reduction of the Cellulite Degree measured by Infrared Thermography.
