Technology is part of the daily life, and the ageing population will expand its use by the elderly people for several purposes, health care for example. Nutrition in geriatrics is gaining increasing relevance, in particular, the goals of protein ingestion, that have been increasing recently. Therefore, mobile apps can be used to track inadequacies in this regard. This research aimed to develop an app that performs a 24-hour food diary by the elderly user, in an automated way, submitting it to quality tests and usabilityvalidation. It was developed with a focus on the specificities of this group and subjectedto quality tests in an exhausting way. The usability was evaluated in two stages: Stage1(N=8) -central group discussion, which took place before the elaboration of its finalversion, including elderly users in the development process; and Stage 2 (N = 18) -evaluation by elderly participants who did not have cognitive decline identified by the10-point cognitive screening tool (10-CS), using the System Usability Scale (SUS scale). The final version of the PROT+ app for Android, obtained after quality tests andproposals made by the focused discussion group, presented screens for simple andintuitive use, and a tutorial video to guide the user. Data from the SUS scale performedby 16 participants, were analyzed by groups divided by schooling and age range. The average of the groups with schooling from zero to four years, five to 11 years, andhigher than or equal to 12 formal years of study were 80 (Interquartile Range (IQR) 48.13), 95 (IQR 15) and 92.5 (IQR 10), respectively. And for age range from 60 to 69 years old, 70 to 79 years old, and over 80 years old, were 95 (IQR 8.75), 85 (IQR33.75), and 87.5 (IQR 10), respectively. There were no differences in usability betweenthe groups by schooling, but there was a large difference between the 60-69 and 70-79 age groups. However, all averages were higher than the scores of other applicationsdeveloped for elderly users and satisfactory by the SUS scale. Therefore, the PROT+app is a geriatric nutritional tool, which is easy to use, with an interface adapted to the specificity of its target audience and demonstrated satisfactory performance in allrequirements evaluated after functional and non-functional quality tests, as well as usability.

The Brazilian Army's Food Inspection and Bromatology Laboratories (LIAB) conduct the quality control of all foodstuffs purchased. These laboratories are found in 18 units distributed in Brazil and are headed by veterinarians. Currently, there is a great demand for inspection and analysis of food items, especially those of animal origin, by the Brazilian Army's Food Inspection and Bromatology Laboratories (LIAB). However, there is no software or application available that facilitates the professionals' work in relation to the more efficient management of this considerable volume of produced data. The work proposed the construction of a low-cost software that allows, in a simple, fast and practical way, the access, control and preservation of all data related to the inspection and laboratory analysis of articles of animal origin, with the purpose of improve LIAB's quality control. All the programming developed was stored on an outsourced web server and can be accessed by software (tablets, desktops and notebooks) and application (smartphone), through the link: . The free and easily accessible platform was effectively built. The production of the product represents an unprecedented tool, to, in this way, assist the laboratory routine of veterinary medical officers, in order to improve the quality control of food purchased for consumption by the OM of the 12th Military Region supplied by the 12th B Sup, in particular, from the Brazilian Army's Laboratory of Food Inspection and Bromatology.

Livestock stands out as one of the main economic activities in Brazil, especially in the North region, which has a significant part of the production of animal protein. However, in many of these areas, due to the lack of research, or even the geographical difficulty of access by the professional, the profile of these properties is not known. Tracing the profile, mainly of those located in regions of difficult access, is fundamental for the optimization, in order to guarantee satisfactory production levels in livestock. This work proposes the development of a technological platform that provides, in a free, fast, easy and practical way, the exchange of information between rural producers and agribusiness professionals for the collection and management of data from the production system. The research consisted of four phases. Phase I corresponded to the survey, via internet, of the technological tools (software and applications) aimed at managing livestock production. Phase II was carried out through the search, grouping and organization of the information necessary for the development of the platform based on the forms and spreadsheets available. Phase III corresponded to the choice of programming language. All the developed programming was stored on an outsourced web server (http://www.pmppa.com.br/apoio/) and can be accessed by computer and cell phone. Phase IV consisted of including questions to feed the platform and carrying out the validation test by the company “AMAZONVET AGRONEGÓCIOS. The product has a computer program registration certificate by the INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property, BR 512020002806-3). The platform is divided into four profiles: home, login, answering survey and administrator. The "Technological Platform for Supporting Livestock Management" guarantees the professional support for the diagnosis, planning and monitoring of technical management in agricultural and livestock management, in addition to administrative and financial management on the property and with the producer, in order to, in this way, to enable increases in production and productivity, in order to guarantee greater economic-financial income for rural properties.
