Pretende-se mostrar neste artigo que o centenário da Semana de Arte Moderna, comemorado em 2022, constitui excelente oportunidade de revisitar a obra de Oswald de Andrade até mesmo para lhe conferir o devido mérito, ainda que pequeno se comparado a sua importante ação para a renovação das letras no Brasil. Com efeito, a obra de Oswald será examinada com vistas a pôr em realce seu caráter seminal – especialmente da poesia antropofágica - para a cultura brasileira e o diálogo que instaurou entre o local e o universal, o presente e o passado. Para tanto, serão feitas observações sobre a evolução da história da poesia oswaldiana à luz dos grupos e movimentos modernistas, mormente a antropofagia. Abstract It’s intended to show in this work that the centenary of the Week of Modern Art, celebrated in 2022, is an excellent opportunity to review the work of Oswald de Andrade, even to give it due merit, still small compared to its important action for the renovation of letters in Brazil. Indeed, Oswaldo's work will be examined with a view to highlighting its seminal character - especially anthropophagic poetry - for Brazilian culture and the dialogue it established between the local and the universal, the present and the past. In order to do so, observations will be made on the evolution of the history of Oswaldian poetry in the light of modernist groups and movements, especially anthropophagy.
