2025-03-142024https://repositorioacademico.universidadebrasil.edu.br/handle/123456789/1050The present study aimed to identify the main places of occurrence, understand the causes of inadequate disposal of solid waste on local roads in the Municipality of Fernandópolis – SP and its consequences for the health of the local population. Qualitative research was carried out, with literature review, field research, observation, photographic records and semi-structured interviews with residents and employees of the Municipal Environment Secretariat. It can be concluded that the Municipality of Fernandópolis has a structured Municipal Solid Waste Plan and strict legislation for environmental crimes, requiring the intensification of the Intersecretariat partnership to strengthen the Policy, with greater supervision and dialogue with citizens about the real needs, demands and difficulties of everyday life, with the intention of remedying and/or mitigating inappropriate disposal in these locations.PDFAcesso AbertoProblemas socioambientaisPreservação ambientalQualidade de vidaDissertação de mestradoLegislação Ambiental
