    Impactos de implementação do BIM no Brasil e a importância dessa inovação

    The AEC (Architecture Engineering Construction) sector encounters major challenges and numerous difficulties throughout its operation, from project design, completion, maintenance, and possible demolition of the building. In order to provide improvements to the buildings in the AEC sector, Bim is a proposal related to virtual projects, as well as their processes and addition of information in a new way of designing, aiming to correct problems in the whole construction chain in a more assertive way , still in planning, but that demand greater time and efforts. Currently in Brazil the Federal Government with support from the European Union, have promoted initiatives for adoption of BIM, pointing out the more developed countries that have implemented and encouraged, its adoption. This paper analyzes the study of double cases, where the research was carried out in an architectural firm in the center of São Paulo and the other in an engineering company in the city of Jundiaí-SP, where both provide services, only in BIM. Thus enabling the analysis of the current market situation of BIM in Brazil, difficulties faced in the initial migration to this innovation and benefits achieved. As a result, it serves as a guideline for project offices that wish to migrate to the Platform. It was concluded that, although complex and high cost, to gradually invest according to possibilities in a specialized team, training in BIM software, and to acquire hardware and compatible software.
